I met Annie and Roberto through their wedding planner, Wedding in France. Our first photographs together were made during a two-hour pre-wedding session in Paris, eighteen months before their wedding. When they returned for their three-day celebration, we already shared that first experience.
Roberto works in cinema. He wanted photographs with an artistic point of view and a photographer who could tell a story. That connection brought us together: considered images, with room for the people and the moments that make the celebration their own.

Two hours in Paris with Annie and Roberto, eighteen months before their wedding.

01 — Eighteen months earlier
Eighteen months before the Ritz Paris wedding, I spent two hours photographing Annie and Roberto around the city. From Trocadéro and the Eiffel Tower to the Louvre arcades, a café and the Paris streets, we had time to explore different settings together. This first session gave us a shared starting point, long before the wedding itself.
02 — The wedding weekend
Annie and Roberto’s three-day wedding celebration included a welcome dinner in a private Paris residence, followed the next day by their wedding at the Ritz Paris. Champagne, conversations and greetings brought their guests together before the ceremony. I photographed those first exchanges as part of the same story.
Part III · Wedding day
Eighteen months after our Paris pre-wedding, and the day after the welcome dinner, I joined Annie and Roberto at the Ritz Paris. The story continues through the preparations, garden ceremony, black-tie portraits and reception, with the same attention to the people throughout.
03 — The groom
Roberto’s connection to cinema also became part of the day. A friend, a professional filmmaker, travelled from the United States with a film camera to document the wedding. Alongside my photographs, his moving images brought another personal perspective to the celebration.
04 — The bride
With Annie, the photographs move between the details of her dress, the light in the suite and the people beside her. Laughter and the last preparations sit alongside more considered portraits, keeping her presence at the centre of the images.
05 — The ceremony
The ceremony brings together the floral design, architecture and emotional centre of the day. Wide frames establish the garden and aisle, while closer photographs follow the first look, family reactions, vows, kiss and recessional as one continuous sequence.
06 — Black tie portraits
Annie and Roberto wanted an artistic story, with photographs that belonged to them. Directed portraits sit alongside the movement of the cocktail hour: a silhouette, a gesture, a shared look. The wedding party and guests remain part of that visual story.
07 — The reception
The final chapter moves from candlelit tables and speeches into cake cutting, live music and the evening party. Flash, ambient light and documentary coverage preserve both the visual design of the reception and the intensity of the celebration.
